Please join us on Saturday September 7th at 10am at St. George’s for a very special Coffee and Conversation session where we will have a public launch of the video "A Typical Heart". It is a short but unforgettably powerful documentary about women's #1 killer, heart disease, which takes more women's lives than all cancers and respiratory diseases combined! A panel discussion will follow with renown women's heart advocate and speaker Carolyn Thomas, as well as other Vancouver Island heart patients seen in the video, Laurie Blakely and Zamira Vicenzino. The event is free and all are welcome, but registration is required as seating is limited. Refreshments will be served. As Carolyn is a very sought-after speaker, please register early to ensure your seat.
