A film screening of “Walk With Us” hosted here at St. George’s in collaboration with KAIROS on Thursday, May 30th, 6:30-8:30pm.: A documentary film by Judy Jackson that shows the migrant crisis through the eyes of Pastor Ignacio Martinez, the founder of ABBA house in Celaya. The film reveals the huge gap between President Trumps’ description of migrants as rapists and criminals and the sad reality that most are seeking to escape the abject poverty and gang violence of their countries -- El Salavador, Honduras, and Guatemala. Following the film there will be panel discussion including KAIROS Canada Migrant Justice Coordinator, Connie Sorio and others. Light refreshments provided, free event, donations welcomed.
