On May 27th, St. George's held it annual Family Fun Day on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. What a day it was! In the front we had a bouncy castle and lots of games for the kids, and we had a few games for adults too, including the very popular Bottle Ring Toss. The Plant Sale and Book Sale were in full swing, and for those who had some energy to burn, there was a Cake Walk and Sack Races in the "back-forty." At mid-day we had our annual Dog Show, where all our talented pups showed off their tricks to varying levels of success (but regardless, a good time was had by both pups and humans). We were again blessed to have our friends from the Ismaili Community serving up freshly made samosas, dahl, and rice (a crowd favourite!), plus there were smokies and hotdogs coming off the barbeque for the die-hard traditionalists. There was lots of laughter shared by all. Thanks for everyone who came out to support the church and spend some time connecting with your community.
