Introducing PWRDF's Indigenous Responsive Programs Grant

Dear friends,

Since 1997, PWRDF has been supporting and accompanying Indigenous communities and organizations through our Indigenous Development Program. Today, on the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, I am proud to announce a new PWRDF program supporting Canada's Indigenous Peoples.

The Indigenous Responsive Program and grant application have been developed in consultation with our Indigenous Program Advisory Committee (IPAC). Indigenous-led communities, organizations and Anglican Dioceses working with Indigenous-led organizations, are invited to apply for a grant from the Responsive Program in the amount of $5,000 to $15,000, for programming that supports safe water, youth engagement, community health and/or climate action. We encourage applications for new initiatives or pilot projects. ​

Through this Responsive Programs grant, PWRDF aims to grow our overall Indigenous Development Program and enhance our institutional relationships so that we may learn from First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities across Canada.
