The woodland walking path on the west side of St. George’s property is now complete!

The next step is to plant native shrubs, small trees and flowers along the path and under the big evergreens.

Here is a way you could help: we would love to hear from any one who would be willing to try growing cuttings of the plants we need. It is not difficult and all you need to know can be found on numerous YouTube videos. You do not need a garden, just a space to put a plant pot covered by a pop bottle or several pots and a clear plastic bin. Now is the time to take the cuttings so if you are willing to give it a try please contact me and I will find the wild plants and bring them to you.

As well as growing our own plants it would be wonderful if we could access already established plants. If you have or know any one who would be able to give us some please let me know. Examples would be honeysuckle, huckleberry, ,sword fern, salal, camas bulbs , shooting star - you get the idea.
