Community Kitchen RequestCall for reusable shopping bags The Social Justice and Outreach group has received a request from the Shelbourne Community Kitchen (SCK) for clean reusable grocery bags for the pantry program. The perfect bags are the classic Thrifty's or Fairway bags (giant Wal-Mart bags are too big and liquor store style bags are too small). The bags can be placed with the weekly food items offered at the Altar. The SCK greatly appreciates your help! With grateful thanks…. The Social Justice and Outreach Team. Keeping the Faith in the Turbulent 2020s
Bishop Anna and our Reverend Christine Conkin are teaming up again for this Diocesan Women’s Retreat Keeping the Faith in the Turbulent 2020s at Camp Pringle September 26-28, 2025. The 2020s...we know how they started. How are they going? Climate crisis. Racial reckonings. Institutional church decline. Trump is back. The future is uncertain. How does our theology help or hinder us as we navigate the turbulence of our times? How do we hold fast in these chaotic and changing times? Together you'll look at some of the theological voices of our time and explore their insights to dig into some of the issues of our day. Click below for more information and registration. (Deadline to Register: September 11, 2025) For more infomation visit: http://stgeorgecadborobay.ca/events/keeping-the-faith-in-the-turbulent-2020s/2025-09-26
